When the Tap House Crew got word about the good work the Dover Housing Authority (DHA) was doing, we jumped at the chance to film with them! Promoting independence and connecting residents to their community is the #1 goal of the Dover Housing Authority Supportive Services Program, according to Resident Service Coordinator, Cathryn Conway-Dorr. Programs like these are crucial for our seniors and disabled individuals. Not only does isolation contribute to depression and cognitive decline, but can affect both physical and mental health.

Now, thanks to the DHA, not only are residents thriving thanks to the wonderful services provided for them, but they’re having fun, making friends, and feeling like they’re part of their community. WIN!
